They are ours and we drive them ourselves. Below is what fits in each, so you already know which to ask for — or leave the choice to us, based on people and luggage.
The long-wheelbase saloon. Independent rear seats and generous legroom: it is what we choose when the journey is long, or when arriving rested matters.
For one or two people heading to a distant airport, or a client who works on the way.
The everyday saloon. More compact than the 7 Series and just as quiet: it moves easily through old town centres and hotel forecourts.
For short and medium journeys, city transfers, same-day appointments.
All-wheel drive and more ground clearance. In winter, towards the passes or the Engadin, it is the choice we make without thinking.
For the mountains, for snow, or when the luggage is bulky.
The van. You stand up to get in, you face one another while talking, and there is room behind for everyone’s luggage without holding it on your lap.
For families, working groups, and any time there are as many cases as people.
The same van with one more seat and a more generous engine. When the group is eight, it saves leaving in two cars.
For groups that need to stay together, and for long runs at full load.
The minibus. Nine seats and a proper luggage hold: skis, equipment, cases — everything that would not fit in the others.
For parties, company trips, and journeys with equipment in tow.
In the form the vehicle can be left blank: tell us how many you are and how much luggage you have, and we choose. If the group is larger than nine we travel with several cars together — it happens often.
